KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote FIS products and services with the primary goal of marketing the FIS e-platform and app to clients including hedge funds, investment banks, ship owners, oil refineries, miners and grain companies; map the market and building a business development strategy.
  • Assist with launch of e-commerce platform, working closely with MD on sales strategy and product roadmap
  • Responsible for building FIS brand, increasing product awareness and ultimately helping to drive sales
  • Create, package and distribute marketing content and campaigns via various methods to engage diverse audiences; implementing new marketing approaches
  • Support a risk and compliance aware-culture and comply with FIS company policies
  • Exercise judgement and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and open and co-operative with the FCA, NFA the PRA and other regulators
  • Ensure full awareness of and adherence to internal policies that relate to the role or any relevant other activities
  • Observe standards of market conduct and ensure understanding and adherence to all regulatory, exchange or clearing house requirements applicable to role
  • Complete any mandatory training required by the company to required deadlines
  • Perform any other reasonable duties the company may require

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative and fast-moving environment.  You’re tenacious, commercially minded and a natural networker, having excellent communication and presentation skills.  You will have some exposure to business development and marketing within the financial services/broking arena.  We need someone to start on this project immediately!

SKILLS

  • Strong academic background; degree educated – essential
  • Excellent sales, marketing and negotiation skills combined with ability to influence decisions - essential
  • Strong writing, verbal communication and editing skills with the vision to create a compelling story for FIS - essential
  • Financial Services industry experience (ideally internships) and understanding of the markets in which the company operates - essential
