The market boasted over 4.4 billion metric tonnes of iron ore futures and options in 2023, which was the record year with the highest volume, up 16% in comparison to the same period in 2022, indicating a strong market activity and rising trading interest. At FIS we broker trades on both the Platts TSI 62% and Fastmarkets 65%, as well as the CME Argus China Portside 62% contracts, and offer comprehensive coverage on options. Our iron ore teams in Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai and London offer comprehensive global coverage for all your hedging and trading needs.
