FIS has played a crucial role in developing the coking coal market, helping transform it from a lightly traded OTC product to a liquid cleared market that it is today and having traded the first cleared coking coal in 2013.
We maintain a leading role in this key ferrous product, with global coverage and first-class service.

As leading brokers in Hot-Rolled Coil, Rebar, Steel Premiums and Ferrous Scrap futures across all global markets we constantly strive to develop existing markets and introduce exciting new trading opportunities. Since the launch of the first futures for this space in 2008, FIS has played an integral part in market growth.
FIS has been a key orchestrator in the growth of these markets, successfully brokering the first LME FOB China HRC trade via the London Metal Exchange.
