Freight Investor Services (FIS) Appoints Tobias Davis as Managing Director of Singapore

London, 01/08/2025 – Freight Investor Services (FIS), the leading freight and commodity brokerage, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tobias Davis as Managing Director of its Singapore Office.

Prior to joining FIS, he led Carbon Origination for ENGIE across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. In this role, he was responsible for servicing clients across a broad range of environmental and emissions products, as well as originating upstream carbon projects.

Prior to ENGIE, Tobias served as Deputy Divisional Director at Tullett Prebon Singapore, where he managed the LNG business and oversaw desks covering regional Carbon Markets and Japan Power. Additionally, he brings over 12 years of experience broking European and UK gas, LNG markets in London, and managing FX derivatives sales and distribution desks.

John Banaszkiewicz, Founder and Chairman of FIS, commented:

“Singapore has always had a special place in FIS’s heart, it being the first place we set up an office after our HQ in London. Toby’s appointment marks the next chapter in the FIS-Singapore story. A big roar from the lion city to further develop our business in the region!”

George Dranganoudis, CEO of FIS, added:

“I am excited to be able to announce this addition to our senior leadership team. Toby brings a wealth of experience in commodity markets and will be able to drive forward APAC business.

Having spent over a decade in Singapore myself before moving to London, I’ve seen how important the city is in global commodity trade. Many of the largest energy companies are strategically based here, and with Toby leading our Singapore office, we’re positioned to grow FIS’s presence in the region.”
